BİLGE SEZER MİMARLIK OFİSİ
BİLGE SEZER MİMARLIK OFİSİ, 1994 Yılında Mimar Bilge SEZER tarafından kurulmuştur. Çalışma dönemince, konut projeleri, havaalanı, adliye binası, öğrenci yurdu, eğitim kurumları gibi farklı yapı türlerinde tamamlanmış projeler bulunmaktadır.
Ünlü Mimarlık tarihçisi Spiro Kostof ‘un tanımı ile “Mimarlık, toplumsal bir uğraşıdır ve beşeri etkinliklerin nesnel temsilidir.” Bu bakış açısı, meslek etiğini hep ön planda tutmanın gerekliliğini vurgulamaktadır. Tasarım, bir binada sadece gerekli fonksiyonların karşılanması anlamına gelmemelidir. Yapıların, içinde bulunduğu tarihi, gelecek kuşaklara aktarma görevini üstlenen sessiz kültür elçileri oldukları unutulmamalıdır.

BİLGE SEZER ARCHITECTURAL OFFICE
BİLGE SEZER ARCHITECTURE OFFICE was established in 1994 by Architect Bilge SEZER. In the study period, diversified projects consisting of different building types such as housing projects, airport, courthouse, student residence and educational institutions have been completed.
According to the definition of famous architecture historian Spiro Kostof “Architecture is a social endeavor and an objective representation of human activities”. This point of view emphasizes the need to keep the professional ethics in the foreground. Design should not only mean that the necessary functions are met in a building. It should not be forgotten that the buildings are the silent cultural ambassadors who undertake the duty of transferring the history to the next generations.

Bilge SEZER ,
1967 senesinde Malatya’da doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini Malatya’da tamamlamış olup, 1984 yılında üniversiteye başlamak üzere Ankara’ya yerleşmiştir. Lisans eğitimini, Gazi Üniversitesi Mimarlık Fakültesi’nde yapıp, 1989 yılında mezun olmuştur.
1988-1990 yılları arasında, mimarlık ofislerinde çalışmıştır.
1990-1994 yılları arasında Ankara Yenimahalle Belediyesi’nde kamu görevi yürütmüş olup, yönetici olarak görev yapmıştır.
1994 yılında kamudaki görevinden ayrılıp, BİLGE SEZER MİMARLIK OFİSİ’ni kurmuştur.
Serbest büro çalışmaları devam ederken 2000-2002 arası (Yozgat)Erciyes Üniversitesi Müh. Mimarlık Fak. Mimarlık Bölümü’nde yarı zamanlı olarak mimari proje atölyelerinde eğitmenlik,
Resmi kurumlar ve yerel yönetimler için danışmanlık görevi yanı sıra, eğitime katkıda bulunacak, çeşitli sosyal projelerde de gönüllü olarak çalışmıştır.
Ankara Mimarlar Odası ve Türk Serbest Mimarlar Derneği (TSMD) üyesidir. 1 çocuk annesi olup, serbest mimarlık çalışmaları halen devam etmektedir.
Bilge SEZER,
was born in 1967 in Malatya. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Malatya and moved to Ankara in 1984 to begin her university studies. She received her bachelor degree in 1989 from Gazi University Faculty of Architecture.
Between 1988-1990, she worked in architecture offices.
Between 1990 and 1994, in Ankara Yenimahalle Municipality she carried out her duty for public service and worked as an administrator.
In 1994, she resigned from her public service in Ankara Yenimahalle Municipality and founded the BİLGE SEZER ARCHITECTURE OFFICE.
Meanwhile her freelance work is in progress; She had been a part-time instructor in the architectural project workshops of of Yozgat Erciyes University Faculty of Architecture between year 2000 and 2002.
In addition to her role as a consultant for governmental and local administrations, she has also contributed to education and worked voluntarily on various social projects.
She is a member of Ankara Chamber of Architects and Turkish Association of Freelance Architects (TSMD).
She has one child and her freelance architecture works still continue.
